My first Lunar Eclipse!

Well this morning I saw my very first lunar eclipse. I knew that Daddy wanted to see it, so I made sure to wake him up at about 4 AM. He was so glad I did! :) So we went out and looked at it and then he took some pictures. It was really neat!

Two month checkup

Well today was my two month checkup. And I am healthy! I weighed 12 pounds 8 ounces and was 24 3/4 inches long! (Which means that Mommy and Daddy don't know how to use a ruler, see my previous blog entry.) That puts me in the 90th percentile for weight and the 98th percentile for height. So it looks like I've got the Stoller and Roslewski height gene! Also, the doctor said my head measure 15 1/2 inches around, which is right in the middle at the 50th percentile.

I also got SHOTS today. I did not enjoy them AT ALL. I am so glad Mommy was there to comfort me afterward. She does a great job of calming me down. The shots sure made me groggy, though, and I slept much of the rest of the day.

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me sleeping through the night too! The last few nights I've been going to sleep after my 9 PM feeding and I don't wake up until about 6 AM! This is so nice for Mommy and Daddy.

I'm 2! (Months that is)

It's hard to believe I've been around for 2 whole months already! I have learned so many new things. I really have started interacting with Mommy and Daddy. They can usually get me to smile if they try. Especially Daddy, he makes good silly faces!

Daddy and Mommy measured me, and I am such a big girl! I'm now 23 inches and weigh 12 pounds 6 ounces.

I've got my two month checkup this coming week, and I also have to get some vaccinations. I'm not scared, though, because I know Daddy will be holding me keeping me safe.

Big day today

As mentioned on Friday, Jim and Carol May came to visit so that Jim could perform my blessing in church today. Grandma and Grandpa Roslewski also came down from Tulsa for it, so we had a lot of visitors all at once. I was a very good girl during the blessing. I wore a 60-year old dress that my great-great-grandmother had made for my grandmother when she was my age. To top it all off, my grandmother made the hat about 10 years ago.

Here are my Mommy and Daddy, Jim and Carol, and me.

And here I am with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa Roslewski.

After church, the 7 of us had dinner, which Mommy did a great job preparing! It was Jim's birthday as well, so I helped them celebrate. This is Jim about to blow out a candle.

I had fun with Grandma and Grandpa too. Grandma makes me laugh!

But I'm still trying to figure Grandpa out! :)

I love baths!

At least I don't hate them anymore. I made it through today's bath without so much as the tiniest bit of crying! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me!

Jim and Carol May come to visit

Today Jim and Carol May from Phoenix came to visit me. Mommy invited Jim to come and perform my blessing in church on Sunday, and Jim readily agreed. Mommy thinks of Jim and Carol as her second parents and is was very nice to meet them!

I'm sleeping through the night!

I'm only 7 weeks old now but I'm already sleeping through the night most nights! Last night I went to bed at 11 PM and woke up at 5:45 AM. Even then I wasn't fussing, but Daddy checked on me, saw that I was awake, and decided they might as well feed me before I started getting cranky.

I definitely think I've got Mommy's "sleep gene"! We love to sleep!
